What started as two pet goats, soon became our lifestyle.

Dani raised Nubian goats back in 2009 when her mother purchased 2 bucklings and a doe in milk. She was quick to learn all she could about caring for them and did so diligently until her mother sold them a few years later in order to move.

When given the opportunity to adopt a brother/sister pair of Nigerian Dwarves, Dani jumped at the chance to raise goats again and Sheri agreed. Johnny Cash and June Carter came to us early spring in 2023, with the intent of being pets. Being a brother/sister pair Johnny was wethered. But it didn't stop there.

In late 2023 we decided to start clearing our land and homesteading and to get more goats to begin breeding for milk. Our little tribe grew quickly and along with getting more unregistered goats we entered the world of registered show goats. By April of 2024 we went from 2 unregistered Nigerians to 8 unregistered and 4 registered.
As a small homestead, we up-cycle and repurpose as much as possible. We are constantly improving and upgrading things as we continue clearing land and expanding what we have. Our fences don't always look pretty but they work for now while we slowly convert to pallet fencing. We have free range ducks and chickens, and the goats go into the main yard daily to browse on what hasn't yet been cleared.

We take extreme pride in all of our goats and they are all friendly and sweet. We are members of ADGA and our registered goats currently include lineage from Blue Cactus, Boyer Bleu, and Wildblume lines. We have not begun showing just yet, but will be in the next couple years. We strive to continue improving our Nigerian dwarf dairy lines.
Although we have recently decided to begin switching to mostly registered, Johnny and June shall live with us for their entire lives, so we will always have at least a couple unregistered for the foreseeable future.
